Biography
Abolfazl Mehreganpour was a participant in the Shahrokhi (Nojeh) uprising in July 1980, a movement intended to overthrow the newly established Islamic Republic. He is remembered in connection with the victory proclamation that was prepared for broadcast to the Iranian nation. He lost his life following the failure and subsequent suppression of the uprising.
ابوالفضل مهرگانپور از شرکتکنندگان در قیام شاهرخی (کودتای نوژه) در تیرماه ۱۳۵۹ بود که با هدف براندازی حکومت جمهوری اسلامی برنامهریزی شده بود. نام او با متن بیانیهای پیوند خورده است که قرار بود پس از پیروزی این حرکت نظامی از رسانهها پخش شود. وی در جریان سرکوب این قیام جان خود را از دست داد.
